I am not a doctor, chef or dietitian. I am a mum, newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (lada) trying to provide my family with tasty meals and snacks that I too can enjoy without raising my blood sugar levels.

This site is my way of sharing my experiments – successes, failures and tips, with others who are looking to eat simple, tasty, low carb/sugar food for weight loss or health reasons.

I don’t claim to coming up with these recipes myself, most are from the websites on this page unless stated otherwise.
